The PCM is housed in the dash & covered by a horse shaped surround which just clips into the dash & hold numerous buttons. Then the PCM is secured by 4 small Torx screws, but when I remove these the unit will still not slide out from the dash - is their anything else holding it in place??? Thanks for any help given HH

SOURCE: Similar problem with right hand side
the bracket that mounts the headlight and holds it in place is a common fault with cayennes, if you can live with popping the lamp back when it moves out, remove the inner wheel arch cover to access the wiring loom and connectors for the headlamp, then secure the connector to the lamp either by cable tie or something similar, then if the lamp moves at least it wont disconnect

If you don't have a Porsche dealer near you, check eBay for a Nav manual. Your car should have come with one though. Good luck!

Well, you can sometime catch the code again. Pt the key in the ignition and turn till the dash light come on (dont Start) then press and the Lock button while keeping the Lock button Pressed and turn the dash light off and put the key with the lock button Press for 10 second afterwards. If not successful first time try again. This should do it.
