at the gas stations the filler nozzle cuts off way too soon. RIGHT?
if this happens at all gas pumps/islands and gas stations.
the car has EVAP system failure.
and the valve that opens key off, allowing the vent at cap to work
is failing
if you can keep it running by pressing on the gas pedal then clean the idle air control valve, IAC.
If, however, it runs for 2 seconds then shuts off and no amount of pressing the gas pedal helps then check your crank position sensor.
The boot seal that is on the pedal hinge and the brake booster might have ripped due to the extreme temps. Check the seal and make sure its still good.
