Your car battery can swamp the donor cars system.
as the jumper cable box said
let the donor car run for 5min to bring up the dead cars battery
if it dont , your cars is battery is END OF LIFE
take it out, charge it and get it tested, see, it's no good.
the starter uses 10 times the current of lamps. (head)
Did u follow the correct way to jump that var/suv?? there is a method,ground to the block,and pos to the pos side of the battery. then lit it charge for a few minutes, then giv it a shot. u r battery is probably beat down to nuthin. so git it towed and then u will need a new battery.??maybe? lol
Try this
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Do not
start the engine).
2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly three
times within 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position.
NOTE: If the indicator message illuminates when you
start the vehicle, the oil change indicator system did not
reset. If necessary repeat this procedure.
truemoparia, the oil change lamp never kills engine starts. wow. amazing guess, wrong
this also resets the computer not just the oil lamp!

the only problem that vehicle has is with cooling fans is relay/module or electrical harness to module that burns up located behind and under right front headlamp assy must remove headlamp to access relay/module that is what powers up fan motor module assy.

there are many sensors and and each airbag have sensors so you will have to get it scanned to know where to start. just a note air bag parts can be very expensive so check out your local salvage yard. they can save you hundreds. good luck

When you put the jumper cables on, put the key in the drivers door lock and unlock the door to deactivate the factory alarm.
