Hazards came on by themselves. They will not shut off even after the car is turned off. There are no other issues.
The only advice I will offer on this subject is: Get an auto electrician to look at it, if you do not understand electrics you can soon cause a fire or worse. It might be a relay faulty or the hazard switch could be stuck , press it a few times to see, if you have no luck the get the garage to look at it.
Good luck
Any chance u got a manual to refer to since it looks something that happens not very often.. like get reference books from reliable-store.com .. I'm kinda sure that's all u need..
FIXED on my Nissan Note!!!
Problem: hazards lights always ON even if the switch is off.
SOLUTION: the switch was causing a short circuit because of dampness (the problem stated after I left the the windows open during a rainy night and water probably got into the switch).
Steps:
1. I removed the cover (there is a clip right below the hazard light button)
2. Unplug the wiring from the hazard switch
3. Dried the backside of the switch with a hairdryer
4. Put everything back on - switch worked again ??
I has a similar problem and I just took the battery out of my remote. I think there is a problem/ short in the remote. It's as if the button is being pressed when it is not. I will use my spare one in the mean time. It was driving me crazy becuase I was driving long distance at the time and when I removed the battery it stopped. I hope this works for you!

you have a short... a bad ground somewhere. sorry i cant be more specific but if you have a wiring diagram you can find the ground for this... possibly corrosion but unlikely. good luck
