What have you done so far. Need to see if the vehicle has both fuel and spark. Check the battery cables and inline fuses. Is it a crank/no start or no crank. A cold battery should be at 12.6 volts, should charge @ around 14volts., If you have spark @ all 6 plugs then see what your fuel pressure is. then go from there. let me know how it is going.

97 buick century was running after jump started, when put in reverse it died and wont start when jump start, no chimes or lights come on at all

Dangerous practice to try & jump a near dead battery

Always try charging a battery, that is only a couple years
old & not run down more than two or three times

If the battery is dead & reads less than 12 volts, have a parts
store test it or just replace it.

Jumping a cars battery is not a fix for anything,so I fail to
see how your lost & have not addressed the battery issue,
so you can continue on with other testing,if needed

Why won't truck stay running. Altenator bench tested good, but running test was low amps. Starter tested bad and replaced as well as corroded negative battery cable.

Your bad cable may have prevented the battery from being charged up good. Put a battery charger on it, or replace it if over 4 years old.

So the problem is it starts and then dies? How many amps did the alternator show? Was it enough to run all power circuits and charge the battery as well? That could be a concern. It is possible you have a bad ignition switch, but first check the fuse for the gauges in the instrument panel fuse block-it may be labeled "gauges" or "meter". The fuse should get power with key on, and then power is sent to the gauges on the dash. Without a voltmeter to test for power coming out of the switch, it's kind of a guessing game. If power is not getting to the gauges, it may also not be going elsewhere out of the switch.

Any issue with a security or theft alarm light staying on? That would disable the engine from running. Post back with year, make, model, and engine size. Maybe I could look at a wiring diagram for further help.

2005 Chrysler Town and Country Touring died when put in reverse. Battery is strong. Will not Start. Ignition Fuse blew. Any Ideas?

It looks like you have a short somewhere. You would need to inspect all the wiring related to that in order to pin point the problem. Also check if there is another system working from that same fuse. ie. Power Outlets. Sometimes if they go bad it will blow the fuses shutting down everything else.
I hope this helps!

My jeep won't start or even turn over

you need to check the voltage at the battery when you have trouble. should always remain above 12 volts.
If not then the battery or the connections are bad. first test the battery right at it's lug terminals, then check the terminal connectors. battery or cable or connectors - def sounds like major voltage issue in the battery area!

I have 02 durango started it put it in reverse gave it gas and it died checked the fuses only one 20amp fuse needed change Icgs before the problem info seatbelt light airbaglight abs brakelight on the...

The stall in reverse is most likely unrelated to your problem, unless your alternator went bad, and your battery is discharged. Try charging/replacing your battery. A jump start may not work as Dodge trucks don't like to idle well with a weak battery. Then try starting again, if it runs check the voltage at the battery. You should have 13-14.5 volts, if not you have a dead alternator. If it still won't start, please post some more details.
