What would cause the interment panel to quit working on a 2004 Toyota Matrix

The instrument panels on newer cars are really computer modules, the displays are computer generated, so when this type of problem occurs you must remove the cluster display and have it rebuilt. Check online for repair facilities, they will provide instructions on removal of the panel from the car and a shipping container to send it in for repair, cost about $250.00 USD

1994 Chevy Caprice-Display problem

Take it back to the place you bought it. It wasn't working after they worked on the vehicle (but it was before)so they are responsible for fixing it. (At least in the UK)

My dash board milage light does not display

Probably a bad solder connection on the instrument panel between the led display and the circuit board itself. Instrument panel needs to be removed for this proceedure. Remove the back cover from the circuit board and carefully remove the circuit board to access the led display. Carefully lift up the display and look to see if any of the solder joints from the solder legs are loose. resolder as needed. Plug the circuit board in the dash and turn on the key to see if it works.

Radio Display is not working but radio does work

Same thing happend to me, on a Taurus. There is a tiny light bulb inside the radio that shines behind the display panel. It was a real pain to get this out, and to replace it. I used a flashlight to shine on to the front of the display to "see" what station I was on, or etc.

To get this led panel to work on your radio, plan on pulling the radio out, and taking the top panel off. Once its off, just look directly behind the lcd panel, and there is a plug, it goes in like a healight bulb, just turn it 1/4 turn, and pull out. Take bulb to local radio shack, or automotive store, to match a replacement to. Good luck!

Climate Control Problem

I had the same problem. Push the top right corner of the panel surrounding the LED display hard and see if it works again. If it does, disassemble and the reassemble the panel and it should be working again. It worked for me. I hope this helps.

AC display panel lights

You will need to replace the whole in-dash A/C control unit. Changing the small bulb won't rectify your problem, as the display is LCD.
