SOURCE: truck stalls while driving, will start again if wait ten minutes

Ok, this sounds like a weak fuel pump and clogged filter. if possible, you will need to change these two vital devices. I would also replace the air filter as well.

Inspect the injection system for faults as well. make sure all injectors are firing properly and on time. replace any injector that isn't functioning correctly.

2003 chevy 2500 duramax dieasal

Diesels run on two fuel pumps. It sounds like one of them is dieing or on the way out. You need a pressure tester to be sure. If you try to fix this one yourself you may just end up throwing a ton of money at the problem without getting a solution.

when was the last time you cleaned the fuel filters. also there is a breath vale that opens when the engine is started so the fuel runs easier if this is blocked or not working will give the same results as you are saying..

2003 S 60 starts fine--however the rpms when the gas pedal is floored are below 2,000.

it could also be the air flow meter which is between the air filter and manifold try to disconnect to see if it changes anything

I have a 2004 duramax, when i get on it to pass it will only get to 65mph and then loss of power and pedal goes to floor.

This is usually caused by your fuel filter plugging. I had the same thing happen. If I recall right It's called "limp mode" when the engine is starving for fuel, so it won't go over 65mph. If you stop and shut the vehicle off it usually resets when you restart it. I changed my fuel filter and it worked fine. Hope that helps.

My 89 Camaro has sat through the winter, and now after getting it started and "freshend" up, I am having major problems driving it. It idles and goes into gear fine, and the RPMs raise normally when I rev...

If you car has been sitting for that long of a period it may have water in the gas. Water is heavier then gas and will block your fuel filter which will cause you to loss power because of lack of fuel, as the water runs down/off the filter it always gas through then will block it again. Try some stp fuel treatment, read bottle to make sure it drys up water in the gas. Add some more gas after emptying the fuel treatment to your gas. problem should clear up.

Loss of power

Try changing fuel filter first. Also check for vacuum leaks, loose, cracked or broken vacuum lines.
