Im trying to hook a wire up from a switch to turn on and of my tail lights only on my 1978 z28 chevy camaro. What color is the factory wire I connect the power wire from switch to? Also same for head...

Standard gm parking light color is brown. Typically the circuit controls all of the parking lights though, not just the rear. The headlights wiring gets more difficult due to the higheams.

My a/c compressor is hotwired to a fuse. I want to know how to fix this issue.

1) you must test 3 sections: a) relay for a/c b) clutch of compresor and c) finally check the tension of belt for compresor for mechanical tight.
Use the same capacity of fuse and wires the same capacity. Do not use ANOTHER .
see the diagram use the VOM
God bless you

1994 subaru legacy wagon. Parking lights won't turn off, even with the engine off and key removed. Any idea what's causing this? thanks

If this is the first time that this has happened, check for the wiring. The wiring for the parking lights may be grounded or gone bad or needs replacement. Check for loose wiring from the lights to the box inside the engine bay. if there are no issues there you may inspect the wiring in the steering column for the same,

If someone did else did the wiring for the car the park light may have been connected either directly to the batter or to a hotwire or power connection that not go to the keys. Check for electrical in your car that works without the key. The park light may be tapped to it or they may have come in contact due to wiring problem.

2001 toyota corolla parking lights stay on

Most likely a bad headlamp switch, UNLESS you have a remote starter hooked up. Corollas with a body computer really do not like remote starters, they cause really bizaare things to happen.
