the appropriate fuse is blue (15A) and is third or fourth from the side of the car (the narrow end). Look at the fuse box cover.

Also, for radio, cigarette, and others: behind the "storage only" box left of steering wheel. Pull that door open, up and out.

Most likely a fuse. If your fuse box is labeled it will say radio under the fuse. If its not check your owners manual for location of fuse box and radio fuse.

Need to know what fuse is for the radio? manual was taken when they stoled my car!

A good solution for this would be to get the Haynes repair manual on your vehicle. Since your owners manual is now missing the Haynes Manual can replace that and provide the information that you normally would get from the owners manual.

Replaced battery, while doing so radio and power antenna stopped working.Checked main fuse, its ok.Is there another fuse?

There's a dedicated fuse for radio. But most newer cars if you take out battery radio goes into "enter code" mode (security feature). You have to know special code to your specific radio. Info doesn't usually make it to second owners.

Radio in Audi A6 won't turn off but digital display is just red

i) fuse box for the audi A6 is most probably on the right side close to the driver;s seat by the steering wheel.  The driver door must be open to access the fuse box.  Please check owner's manual. ii) in the 2002 Audi A6 it is fuse #37.  Please check owner's manual. iii) remove the fuse for the radio then replace fuse. iv) start the engine v) the radio most probably will reset it self but you should not have to enter the security access code for the radio. let me know how the works. thanks

My Radio wont turn on!

you should refer to your owners manual for the fuse size. if you are only missing 1 fuse and every thing else works ,Then my guess would be that is your reason for a non working radio. As well the fuse may have been removed due to a ground in the wiring.

2005 Malibu MAXX car stereo dead, rear radio too.

Please check your owners manual for the location of the 10 amp fuse for the radio. On some models you have to reset the security feature on the radio/CD player for it to work.

The info below has been stated to work on a no go radio. I have not confirmed this procedure.

Remove the lower fuse box cover, with the power off, removed the 10 Amp fuse for the "Radio." the fuse may be good. Fuses are diagrammed in the owner's manual. With the fuse removed, start the car, turn the car off, replace the fuse and turn the key to "ACC" to see if the radio was "Reset."

Would the alarm cause the radio to malfunction? If your Anti Theft lock was activated check your owners manual under radio and check for a 4 number password. Sometimes it is taped to the upper part of the glove box. If you do not have the CODE you will need to take the vehicle to a dealership or a repair center. They use your vehicles vin number get the code.
