(1) No need to know if engine block coolant drain plug was available. Once the water pump was removed, all engine block coolant was drained. (2) After removing the three engine mounting bracket bolts, I also removed the mount bracket from the the body and made enough room to replace the timing belt easier.

SOURCE: How do I add coolant to the air conditioning

You need to locate the low port on the AC.

You recharge the AC connecting to the low port.

You find the AC low pressure at the top of the compressor. Near the compressor you find two ports, the high port and low port.
You can follow the compressor line to reach the port.

To find out which one is the low port, run the air conditioner for a couple of minutes withthe engine on.
Then turn off the care and touch the lines from compressor to the two ports , often covered with plastic caps. Only one of the pipes will be cold, the line that is cold will lead you to the low port.

How do I flush the cooling system in a 2000 hyundai elantra?

There are several methods for flushing the cooling system on ALL engine cooling systems. Time honored is drain the radiator (drain ****). Fill with fresh water and run engine to operating temperature until cooling fans turn on. Drain cooling system again. Refill with 50-50 coolant. Another method is purchasing a "T" vlave (coolant flush/service kit) from Autozone, PepBoys, NAPA, O'Reilys, CarQuest, etc.). This "T" valve is installed in one of the heater hoses & attached to a garden hose. Remove the radiator cap & turn on the water supply to the garden hose. Let water run until flush water is 'clear'. Remove garden hose from T valve & refill radiator with pure coolant until the T valve drainage turns green/orange. Install T valve cap... DONE!

When should you get a coolant system service? 2005 HyundaiElantra

should be about every 3 year or 36,000 miles as a rule of thumb. Some manufacturers claim there coolant can last longer then that, but customers that stick to that usually have problems with the system later on down the line. Thats why I like the 3 year 12,000 per year rule. other then that you can consult your owners manual should be in the back,
