The check engine light will stay on until you reset it with a code reader . Do that and see if any other codes come up.

SOURCE: Code #P0171 & code #P0174

The most common problem on a Ford with these codes is deteriorated PCV hoses. Check the hoses from the PCV valve to the intake manifold. Pay special attention to the rubber elbows. They often crack on the inside curve and the crack is hard to see.

SOURCE: MY LEXUS IS200 SE engine management light came on

What was the code? lean mixture? If so make sure there is no leak in the exhaust. I have worked on a lexus suv, but it was an 89. It had a lean mixture code. After examination I noticed a exhaust leak which was not apparent at first, there is a section in the exhaust the is very thin, and prone to leakage, causing the lean mixture code.

Can an O2 oxygen sensor effect another sensor and give a false reading?

Check which side of your engine has cylinder #1. That side is bank 1. Bank 2 is the side opposite of bank 1. So bank 2 is not always passenger side. And since you seem to have extra O2 sensors, I would replace the other upstream and see what happens. Also the mass air sensor can give a trouble code issue to the upstream 02 sensors. Good luck. I've struggled thru this myself.

Po141 o2 sensor code comes on my 1999 chevy s10 I've replaced the sensor. The check engine light came on again.

You should have 4 O2 sensors and it sounds to me like the wrong one was replaced. Bank 1 Sensor 2.

I can clear the code but it just keeps coming back . where is bank 1sensor 1 located?

You didn't know that or why?

All code related issues get resolved first

So get the codes & give them to us

You can buy or borrow a code reader or
go to the parts store for a free check

The codes you get do no tell what is wrong
or what to replace, just the system with problems

Your getting an O2 Sensor Codes
So if the ones closest to the engine have
100,000 miles on them,replace

If not check for vacuum leaks, that will be the issue 80%
of the time

Bank 1 is on the side of engine where cylinder #1 is
Sensor 1 is closest to engine
The rear or sensor 2 is a monitor of converter efficiency
so forget that one

I think your sensors are pattern parts and the readings /resistances are not the same as the original parts ,try some bosch units is my first suggestion ,

Check engine light is on...bank 1 sensor1 oxygen sensor

if u have one oxygen sensor then u need to take a deep look at the bottom of ur car it will be somewhere at the Exhaust pipe if u have a catalytic converter then u will have two oxygen sensors one before the catalytic converter & the other will be after the catalytic converter. Note: the catalytic converter is located at after a little bit of beginning in Exhaust pipe.

P1153 insufficient switching p0700 1996 tahoe

P0700 - Transmission Control System Malfunction, clear the code and see if it comes back, all this code is, is the TCM (trans control module)
telling the check engine light to come on for a possible trans fault, many times it is a false code and means nothing is wrong unless it has another trans code stored with it like a shift solenoid for instance.

P1153 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Insufficient Switching Bank 2 Sensor 1, You would be pretty safe to assume the O2 sensor for cylinder bank 2 ahead of Cat converter is defective.Bank 2 is the side opposite the bank that #1 cylinder is located in.
