You can remove rear seat to do this .not easy but can be removed from door that way. You will probably find a broken actuator rod for the lock side
Try cycling lock and unlock 5 or 6 times, when cycling look at lock button, if moving a little it will not be child side leaves . Would it be in side rod or lock accurator. This can happen when someone trys to use a slim Jim to unlock door.

I had the same problem with now power to windows, mirrors and seat. The common soulution is the orange and or black wire in the boot have broken between the door and post.

Pull the panel off starting at the top, you can just pry the window control apart, you don't need to unscrew that part. I sprayed white grease (lubriplate) all around the door latch inside there, and it unlatched easy.
After I put it back together, the knob still doesn't rise as high as the other side. I think the linkage is binding, and the connecting rod is bent. At least if the door won't unlock with the button you can do it by hand.

Sounds like the link rod to the latch are jammed in the locked position by something inside the door or it came off. Any way, you have to remove the door panel to get access to it.

Remove the panel and disable the child lock or some cars have an option to just bypass the child lock either or
