SOURCE: the power window on the passenger side went down,

The wiz is abslutely correct. When you have it repaired just make sure that the mechanic who works on it verifies that the window is still firmly secured in the rail.

SOURCE: Chevy Avalanche GPS makes constant sounds

This is the GM bulletin for your problem: 06-08-44-034C.

You need to have your truck compared to another of the same type. If yours is louder it should be replaced.

I have a 2008 chevy avalanche. Both of my rear windows will roll down with the back switch but will not roll up with the back Switch. I can use the driver switch to roll them up . What could it be???.

Switches. Could the child protection switch cause that? Try swapping a front switch to the rear and see if it works. isn't there a switch in the rear doors for child protection stuff? hope that helps.

Avalanche airbag

Without a scanner u can disconnect the batt for 15 minutes but sounds like you forgot to hook up a plug. Some vehicles have an airbag plug under the seat and are usually yellow. Make sure all plugs are right or pins didn't bend or push out of the back of the plug

Headlights on 2005 chevy avalanche went out and all fuses and light bulbs are ok. what do i do do i check the relays and which one are they?

check the wiring from the tailights back to the fuse panel, it sounds like an open connection. if i recall correctly check under the dash on the drivers side near the fuse panel for a bunch of wires in a bundle and look carefully for a wire or two that are cut/shorted/or seperated, you can also check under the drivers side kick panel by the hood release.

2003 Avalanche drivers door window has grinding noise and wont go up, does the regulator need replaced or what?

Yes, it sounds like the regulator is at fault. The grinding noise sounds like a stripped gear. You will have to pull the inner door panel off to investigate.

Is there a way to disable the auto window down on my 2004 avalanche

If you don't move the switch all the way to the back the window will not automatically go down. Just move the switch a little.

2002 Chevy Avalanche. Truck will not

Do a bench test on the starter. Remove starter, hook up a ground cable to starter, and positive to two prongs on starter and it should spin. You can do this in vechile too but not suggested due to risk of injury. If it doesn't spin, probally a solenoid or the starter it self. Unlikely but possible.
