Where is pressure regulator located 2006 chevy avalanche

pressure regulator ???? For what , fuel system ? ABS etc .... If fuel pressure reg. inside gas tank The fuel pressure regulator is a part of the fuel sender assembly, eliminating the need for a return pipe from the engine. A returnless fuel system reduces the internal temperature of the fuel tank by not returning hot fuel from the engine to the fuel tank. Reducing the internal temperature of the fuel tank results in lower evaporative emissions.

I don't know where my starter is on my 2006 Chevy avalanche

Starters are almost always (99+%) located where the engine block is bolted to the transmission/clutch housing. Depending on what other components are bolted to the engine, you may be able to see and access from the top, but most have to be removed from below. Some are very difficult to get to and may require removal of other components, or loosening engine mounts, etc. Strongly recommend getting a shop manual (Haynes, Chilton, Motor, etc) from an auto parts store for your model. You can also search on YouTube to see if someone has posted a video for your model, or a similar one.

My 2006 Chevy Avalanche's check engine light came

All these code's are to your transmission, your mech needs to do more then pull code's, he needs to look at date on sensor to transmission before opening.

P0740 - Torque converter clutch solenoid circuit

P0758 - Shift solenoid (B) electrical

P0785 - Shift timing solenoid

P0761 - Shift solenoid (C) performance or stuck off

I would try Trans - X first pores right in to trans.

Check engine light reduce engine power and traction controll off.

It could be the APP sensors or the throttle body throttle position sensors . What DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Need to test the electrical wiring , 5 volt reference voltage. Drive by Wire Function and diagnostics by Wells REDUCED ENGINE POWER - mass airflow sensor has nothing to do with this problem . Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Reduced Engine Power Mode When the PCM detects a condition with the TAC system, the PCM may enter a reduced engine power mode. Reduced engine power may cause one or more of the following conditions: ?€¢ Acceleration limiting--The control module will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control; however, the vehicle acceleration is limited.

?€¢ Limited throttle mode--The control module will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control; however, the maximum throttle opening is limited.

?€¢ Throttle default mode--The control module will turn off the throttle actuator motor and the throttle will return to the spring loaded default position.

?€¢ Forced idle mode--The control module will perform the following actions:

- Limit engine speed to idle by positioning throttle position, or by controlling fuel and spark if throttle is turned off.

- Ignore accelerator pedal input.

?€¢ Engine shutdown mode--The control module will disable fuel and de-energize the throttle actuator.

Refer to ?€¢ Powertrain Control Module Description for the 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L engine
