can you put it in neutral and roll it around if not start at the corners and work your way in.also check to see when its in gear and you try to move it see if it lifts or lowers in the rear as you release the clutch.if it lifts the problem is probably in the front if it sinks its in the rear.hope this gives you a spot to start looking
B4 you pay the $600 check the vacuum lines, the one near the top center of the firewall. Mine was disconnected I plugged it in and I then had my 4x4 back after 3 yrs. My light would just blink and never engage. hope this helps
