I can use the a/c for just a couple minutes until it gets cool. I can get out and pull up carpet aswell as padding and there is a major puddle. it is not water drainage from under the windsheild. and not from road water. its like the heater core is leaking if that makes any sense. it is a 1996 jeep grand cherokee limted, all wheel drive so to speak. 5.2l.
Look on other side of firewall under hood on passenger side for a rubber tube sticking out, usually pointing down. Stick a pipe cleaner or piece of wire in there & see if you can clean it out & get it flowing again. Just don't ram something in there too far that's rigid & pokes a hole in heater core.
It can be the heater core leaking or it could be the A/C condensation line is clogged up.More than likely it's the heater core if it is a large puddle of water though.

would the heater core leak antifreeze and would i be loosing coolent? I'm not. thats what i"m baffold about. its clean water and has no smell. whare would i start looking for condensation line in cab at?
didnt have any luck locating rubber tube. looked all around engine coolant rez. will look in better light conditions. would there be any other causes to this flooding?
Is your coolant level in engine going down?
