fastening seat belts is not always the answer as some sensors need weight to cancel the light after the seatbelt is fastened. best have it checked out by an auto electrician as the seats may have been changed and the wiring not properly connected.
You remove the plastic seat belt retractor covers,
on the floor by the "B" Piller
If you need to replace them, the retractors I mean, there
is a special GM Torx Driver Bit for seat belts
I would play around with them to see what the issues are
IF THEY HAVE AN AIR BAG INVOLVED e.g. SRS
System integrated into the seat belts, disconnect the battery
(before) you even think of going near the covers
Are the Seatbelts Manual or Auto, if they are auto then on the Right hand side look back and see the Plastic Molding that Seperates the 2 doors take that off and at the mid or Bottom the Motor will b in there and jst disconnect it for a Temp fix, and if u want to Replace it then u may want to replace to Track for the Seat belt, They some time get wore out
I had a problem on a 91 Civic DX where the drivers auto seat belt
wouldnt move and the beeper would not stop.Had a blown seat belt
fuse.Replaced the fuse no more problem. The Seat belt fuses are located
under the red cover that covers the positive battery terminal. On mine
the fuse closest to the font of the car was for the drivers side auto
seat belt the one closest to the windshield is for the passager seat
belt. They are green and rated at 30A.
