SOURCE: hi my nissan maxima has problem
The oxygen sensors in the exhaust pipe are saying the fuel/air ratio is too lean. This commonly happens when the computer in the car reached it's limit putting out the most fuel. Therefore, the mix ratio is still lean.
The possible problem maybe:
The fuel pump not puting out enough pressure.
The fuel filter maybe clogged
The fuel injector maybe clogged or needs to be cleaned.
Were there anymore trouble codes besides the two from Autozone?

i had a friend of mine bring me his car just last week for the same problem.he said he checked all the fuses, but he didnt know that on the passenger side there was another fuse box.i replaced the burned out fuse i found in this fuse box and everything has been working fine ever since.so most likely you will just have to look a little more for another fuse box or try under the hood by the battery for a fuse/relay box also.a few more places to look would be in back of the drivers and passengers kick panels. hope this info helps you. take care and good luck, manny

Mercedes commans sat nav version 4.1 for E220, is saying off road, and when at home is showing on map that I am somewhere in the National Park Peak District. I have been told to remove fuse for sat nav should be no 28 but in boot of car near sat nav cassette fuses in box only go upto 20. Am I looking in the right place?
