Hey there i have a 1996 nissan primera 4wd auto every gears works mint as no issues its fool with gearbox oil but it wont drive in reverse what would you recommend? Would it be tge reverse sencor?

run the fault codes to find the fault it could be a loose wire at a wheel sensor

With it on.

1. Turn the ignition switch from Position 0 to ON 6 times within 10 seconds. 2. Then turn ignition switch to OFF position. Leave key in ignition switch. 3. After 2 seconds, the system will enter programming mode and will flash the warning lights twice. 4. Press and HOLD the unlock button on the Plip. 5. While pressing the unlock button, press the lock button 3 times. 6. Release the unlock button. 7. The warning lights will flash once to indicate successful programming. 8. Repeat procedure 4 to 7 for up to 4 plip key's. 9. When completed turn ignition ON, and the warning lights will flash 2 times. 10. Remove key, and check all plip key's for operation. NOTE : The programming mode will stop when either the ignition is switch ON, 4 plip keys have been programmed or no input signal either from the switch or plip keys has been received for 120 seconds.

have you checke dthe main 60amp fuse in the engine compartment fuse box , also some vehicles have a large amp fuse directly attached to positive terminal of the battery on the starter circuit keep me posted if you wish

I'm not certain I understand the problem, but it sounds as though the battery is not charging properly. Check it yourself, or have the charging system and battery checked. With the engine running the battery voltage should read about 14 volts. If it is much lower, the charging system is not working. If the battery goes down with the car just sitting, there is something drawing more current than it should. Easy things to check are for a glovebox light, overhead light, trunk light or underhood light that does not turn off. Normal draw with everything off, after sitting a few minutes, should be less than 100 milliamps. I hope this is helpful.
