Ecm location 2002 buick - 2002 Buick LeSabre

I am not sure if the ECM would be directly compatable, but both a 1997 and 2002 used the Series II 3.8 You could only go off of the service numbers on the ECM itself.

PWR WDO - 30amp circuit breaker , DRV -MDL 10amp fuse - both are located in the rear fuse box .

Under the left side of the rear passenger compartment seat

code p 0446 refers to evaporative emission (EVAP) system---vent control---circuit malfunction===causes --wiring---EVAP canister purge valve ---ECM
replace the purge valve
code p 0453 refers to EVAP pressure sensor --high input ===causes --wiring short to positive --EVAP pressure sensor ---ECM
replace the sensor

passenger side behind dash , i've copied a schematic , hope fully it will load, also known as a PCM

It is in the air intake box at the front of the car.....one of the easiest PCM's to get to, God-Bless!

To replace it .. unplug battery then remove connector at ECM on old ecm remove two screw and the plate remove both memory and install them in the new ECM....plug 3 connectors and battery cable

It is located underneath the driver side seat

The ECM is in a panel on the passenger side of the car. Inside at the feet is a plastic panel that comes off, above the fuses there is the ECM.
