U should be able to remove the cover by the door handle ,the lock rod probably came off the knob for the lock ,if u cant get to it that way then you may have to remove the door panel

Will have to roll down window and take very long screwdrive and sli in door and bust door latch assembly,Best to take to shop,You have to know just where latch is to keep from causing major damage.

try disconnecting the battery for few minutes,then reconnect and try.ps: make sure you know your radios security code before disconnecting the battery.good luck

Boot is not supposed to open with door unlocking feature. Rear passenger door lock may be stuck. Does it work manually?

2000 hyundai sonata passenger door lock stuck in locked position

If your talking about the teeth/latch that actually engage around the pin to hold the door closed and not the lock you puhs down to lock it. all you have to do is get a screwdriver or anything small and strong you can stick in it and pull the tooth back into the "open" position. You might have to pull the handle out like your opening the door normally while you do this.

My 2002 Ford Thunderbird's driverside door will not close. It seems that the latch is stuck in the closed position, therefore the door will can not shut properly

In some cars it is possible to take the latch with your hand and move the mechanism enough that it will pop back into the open position for you. Be carefull if it snaps back into place your finger could get pinched.

Good luck, if you cannot reset the latch then you will have to replace it.

If you are able to reset it then I would suggest that you lubricate it to help prevent it from getting stuck again.

Power sliding door stuck open 2002 Venture

first check the grounds make sure nothing is blocking its way from toys or anything kids can just put in there, and or make sure that there is no lock control other then that wire problems?? try to just do manual slide for now if you can.

Automatic Door lock is stuck in "lock" position on drivers side,

Spray it in with that door lock lubrication.
You should be able to open it from the driverside insde.
Lubricate the doorlock latch at door style itself as well, no excess. Dripping to be removed! Now after working in that oil. have a few operations of the whole and threat all doors alike.
You need to do this at least once a year. She just stuck in dirt most probably. At that side most dirt enters because you use it the most.

sounds like the linkage inside the door is the problem......or a connector is not on all the way inside the door
