I see the year now and model, missed it the first time. That year model had lots of problems with the light switch heating up. It is easy to remove. Just pull the plastic panel away and look on the back of it to remove the light switch.

SOURCE: 99 cavalier battery light comes on but new battery....

it sounds to me like it could be the alternator im afraid but the only real cheap way to tell is time. if you continue to drive this and keep a check on wether it still starts or lights dim, with it being a new battery it is going to take a while fot it to go flat. if it does then try not to drive it too much as this will break it and cost you even more.

SOURCE: '05 Chevrolet Malibu - Front Right Blinker is not Working

You need to check for power coming out of the turn signal switch with a test light, or voltmeter. On older Chevys, the R/F turn signal wire is dark blue. Check the color of your wire at the bulb socket, then locate the turn signal switch connector, and probe that color wire with the ignition switch on, and turn signal switch in the right position. If you have power coming out of the T/S switch, you have bad connection, or open circuit between it and the bulb socket.

SOURCE: When I turn on my headlights, my radio goes dark

Check for a loose ground. on vehicles the ground is as important as a power wire if not i would suggest taking a closer look at your headlight switch.

Hello. i have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 slt and i am having issues with the headlights and taillights and blinkers, wipers.

sounds like a bad front control module or a bad IPM. But you need a scan tool to really diagnose it.

2000 Acura 3.5 RL suddenly has no tail lights or tag lights. Brake, reverse and blinker all work. Checked fuses-all appear fine. Decided to replace bulbs and noticed front right marker light out so changed...

The only thing that both the brake lights and tail lights use is a ground connection. Keep in mind the warning light on the dash may be for any exterior lamp. You may need to check the sockets and grounds on all four corners of the car.

Marker lights wont go on

on 1998 and earlier models, the side marker light housing is located next to the headlight housing. Remove the screws and pull out the housing to access the bulbholder on the back of the housing. On 1999 and later models, the park and turn signal bulbs are located in the bottom of headlight housing. Twist the bulbholders out to replace the park or turn signal bulbs. Installation is the reverse of the removal directions.

My headlights on my sunfire go off while driving

Right now, I'm thinking the head lamp switch assembly has a problem? See the wire color in the top of head lamp, that is voltage, fuse protected, hot all the time. When problem is ongoing, you could use a test lite, check for voltage at fuse circuit?
The headlamp switch assembly is located on headlamp ground circuit. There could be a wiring problem, somewhere. I can only help with testing.

Both headlights went out at same time

Headlight switch,or dimmer switch,or the bulbs are blown,if they are blown, have the alternator checked to make sure there are no over charging going on.

Right headlight markerlight and blinker dont work

PROBABLY YOUR HEAD LIGHT AND MARKER LIGHT ARE NOT PLUGGED IN PROPERLY, AS THE EVAPORATOR IS RIGHT BELOW THE AREA WHERE THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY FITS, AND MOST LIKELY WAS REMOVED BY YOUR MECHANIC

2002 VW Jetta died while driving it.

Either you threw a belt or the alternator went bad. Your symptoms sound like alternator...you were running on the battery till you ran out of power.
