My car has the fuel pump replaced but since that day the fuel meter hasn't moved at all, I put $20 of gas the other day and nothing. Now I don't know how to fix this.
SOURCE: pumping fuel into the car takes forever ,and gas backflows
Fuel Backing up in the fill nozzle is most often caused by a restricted fuel tank vent line. This vent line runs from the tank to a charcole filter that stores the tank vapors while still allowing air to pass. It is typically located in the engine compartment. Look for a pinched hose first in the engine compartment. Typical hose diameter is 10 mm or less. If you have had recent work done on the car in the fuel tank area, this also may have resulted in the line being pinched or rerouted in error.
good luck
Then the system is purging when it should not. when the system purges certain criteria needs to be met.Fuel vapor are forced to flow in the canister from the fill vent valve to the fuel liquid vapor seperator this isolates fule from vapor there the vapor goes to the canister the vapor from the canister is fed in to the intake manifold into the combustion chamber this according to the purge process. The solution is to monitor the purge control solenoid unless the cansitor is fuel soaked.
seems like a fuel pressure issue, try replacing the fuel filter with a new one, and spray some aerostart into the air intake while cranking over.
