you may have poor ignition wires that need to be replaced or a bad electrical connection that is affected by water either for the ignition system or the fuel injection system. just some places to look.
Its either your fuelk pump or fuel filter that is causing your problem you need to have filter replaced to see if that solves your problem if not then it is your fuel pump you will need to have replaced.
Possible speed sensor. I know the speed sensors are a problem with hondas. A new speed sensor is about $200 and can be easily replaced. It bolts to the top of the transmission on the firewall side. Do NOT buy an e-bay one. They are only about $30 but are junk
Have you checked the solenoid to see if it's working or not? I suspect that it isn't. You can usually check them with 5v and feel and listen for the click to make sure they are working. Good luck!
I had the same problem on a Rover. There was a leak in inlet manifold that was caussing the problem.
To verify, spray some sealant to temporarily seal the inlet manifold .and the eratic idling should disappear for some time.
If it does, you know there is leak in inlet manifold which you can take of and refit with a new gasket.
