Ihave problem with 92 gmc safari it drives sometimes during driving car buck like it.s out of gas . I'll turn igntion on and off real quick. and car drives ok. Ihave replaced fuel pump.

94 safari thet has a hard miss kick buck going up hills or hard acceleration ,Replaced fuel filter ,cap rotor plugs and wires .Still has this hesitation while driving ??Any help Thanks

Sounds like a bad plug wire, take a squirt bottle while the car is running then spray the wires down they should start arcing, also when you replaced the fuel pump did you replace the fuel filter

Have sprayed the wires at night and no arcs are seen.We have not changed the pump in the tank yet only he filter .

sounds like a possble bad egr valve stcking open or then clutch in the torque converter is staying on

I know EXACTLY what your talking about... its the starter.. my truck did that, but i never fixed it.. i would always just turn the key on and off real quick and after 5-20 clicks it would start

check Brake line above Gas tank i own a 1993 Gmc van to brakes were doing same thing didnt appear to be fluid on grown but when lifting it up and sticking hand up on tank you could feeel the line rusted threw Gmcs Are known to leak rite above gas tank

I have a 1995 GMC safari, as i was driving the van stopped running. It does turn over but will not start. Has new fuel injector, distributor cap and rotor, plug and wires. When I prime it gas does come...

If you have not fixed this yet, let me suggest something. I have a 91 Safari and the same thing happened. It turned out that the "computor" blew a fuse. No known reason why either. I replace the fuse and the thing started right up. So, if not a fuel problem, check every fuse with some type of tester. Visual can sometime fool ya. Good luck.

First thing to check is the fuel filter. It is likely getting clogged and starving the engine for fuel under heavy load.

Bucking during normal driving

at first blush i would say water in the gas... buy a couple bottles of gas line antifreeze. put them in the tank and let it set overnite if you can tho sometimes it works faster then that. gas line antifreeze is alcohol (NOT the kind you would drink).
if that solution doesn't work the next alternative is that the coil pack is going.
