You will have to jack the car up and get under it to get to the drain valve, it is located on the back side of the radiator tank, drivers side, if not there then opposite side..

I have found that some radiators dont have drian plugs, if you cannot locate the plug at or near the bottom of radiator then you can always take the lower radiator hose loose and drain that way

Head gasket or IM gasket? overheating, think there's antifreeze on spark plug threads. drained flushed bled system. new thermostat rad cap. still overheating.

Somebody been using tap water in their radiator? The vehicle is old enough to have a lot of accumulated rust and crud in the Radiator which, depending on relative water quality and location of water pump could over pressure the system and have it squirting into overflow. If the threads of the plug have antifreeze on them it's coming from the OUTSIDE not the inside.

Where is the vent valve solenoid located on a 2003 buick rendezvous

The evaporator drain tube a 2003 Buick Rendezvous is very difficult to find. It will be located on the firewall, in the middle or on the passenger side. You might have to get under the vehicle to find it.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to change radiator on 98 buick park avenue

Pretty straight forward on this one. You will want to remove the top mounts and make sure all hoses and lines are unhooked. You might need to remove the electric cooling fan assembly off of the radiator to make enough room, but the radiator will lift straight up and out.

How to i flush a radiator on a 2000 expedition and what tools do i need?

you need, knife/ gear clamp, screwdriver /nut driver (for gear clamp) and garden hose
with water pressure hook up hot water is better
you can buy a can or to of rad flush but dishwasher soap works good (it wont suds up )
also rad flush kit with garden hose addapter (most kit are compatable)
1-drain existing coolant in container for recycling
2-locate heater return hose to block and cut to installed flush kit addapter
always better to reveres flussh system with engine off and rad cap removed
drain valve closed hook up garden hose and run hot tap water true system
it will eventually cove out your rad cap (surge tank) until it runs clear
know sut off the garden hose add your cleaning additives installed rad filler cap
run engine per direction on can or 10 to 15 min. sut off engine removed filler cap
open drain valve on radiator and drain out system open water from garden hose
run water until clean water run true shut off garden hose and removed cap off with
cap supplied with kit let system drain completly . repeat cleaning operation until
water runs clear
add 1 jug of concentrated coolant (will mix with ressidual water and finish filling
system with premix used recomended coolant only for your engine your freeze
point of new coolant should be above spec and will be fine
do not used pure concentrated coolant only .your ownners manual spec section will
give capacities system will hold

I have a 1995 buick century. i want to flush radiator, but i couldn't located the draining valve. i need a help, if you can locate the draining valve for radiator.

Hi, if there is not a petcock or plug at the bottom of the radiator, you can just remove the lower radiator hose to drain the coolant. Many cars do not have drain plugs. Please let me know if you have more questions and thanks for using FixYa.

How do I flush the radiator in a 2002 Buick Rendezvous. Need all the steps.

Well you can purchase a Prestone Flushing Kit, that includes a T valve with a cap that you can remove to connect a garden hose to, that you would install in line in one of heater hoses. Install the T valve, connect a garden hose to the T valve, remove the radiator cap and turn on the garden hose, once you have clear water coming out the radiator, turn off the hose and disconnect it and install the T valve cap. Then on the other tank that doesn't have the radiator cap, at the bottom of that tank, is a petcock, unscrew it to drain the radiator. Drain the water out and close the drain and refill the radiator.
