I have a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3l with 199000 miles. About a 2 weeks ago I changed plugs and wires. Then the other day the check engine light came on and was flashing. The code I got was P1684 and P0300. I have not disconnected the battery, so I'm not sure why the first code. The van starts and idles good but misfires when accelerating. I changed fuel filter and put in some injector cleaner. The light is still on but does not flash anymore and does not seem to misfire. But now when I try to speed up the rpm will go to 3500 with little speed increase.

Once you have the new PCV valve locate the old one on your engine. It will sit on the middle of one of your valve covers (most likely passenger side) and will have a line that connects to the top of the valve. Simply pull the old one out and put the new one in snapping that line on the new one. Should only take about a minute to do. Hope this helps, let me know if it does.

Yah code 1684, it just tells you that battery/computer has been disconnected within last 50 starts. If it doesn't drive you nuts, give it some time, you'll be suprised how quick 50 starts will go by & light should go out

You should definitely replace the fuel filter though this probably won't fix your hesitation. It wouldn't hurt to replace the spark plugs this is usually the culprit on these engine. I have the same engine in a '99 caravan and found the for some reason the spark plugs on cylinder 3 and 4 loosen up after one year and cause a misfire between 45 and 50 mph under load (when mildly accelerating).

I have a 2001 Dodge Grand caravan Sport i have a misfire in cylinder 2 i changed the spark plugs,wires,coil,map sensor,COMPUTER,had it checked for vacum leaks (nothing),fuel filter.Basically I have almost redone the whole van and i still have the same problem. Can anyone suggest what else i could try! please
