I own a 2006 Chevy Impala. My tail lights are not working but my brake lights and turn signals are working. I found the fuse and checked it and it's good. What should I check next?

It sounds like a parking light wire is not connected. look for wire or check the connection, I don't think that both light bulbs would have the lower wattage wire in the bulbs themselves would be burned out.

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

SOURCE: No tail lights

Try checking the headlight switch it may have broken contacts in it. Easy fix go to a salvage yard find same make and model truck, swap headlight switches.

There was a recall on this, take to the dealer and they will replace the whole socket on this.

2006 chevy impala rear tail light...

there is a connector that plugs into the light that should be looked at. is there any water leaks anywhere. there were problems with water leaks on some malibu models around the tail lights. pell open the inside covers and get to the tail light to inspect for this. also check those bulbs just in case they did go bad. any condensation in the light? not sure if the Impala has a single fuse for both tail light or one for each but you should check fuse box under dash and under the hood. good luck

2003 ford expedition tail turn signal light dont work bulbs are ok

You say the rear tail turn signals are not working are the fronts working? If the fronts work and the rears don't then you have a wire issue. Check the grounds for the tail lights or check and see if a trailer wire harness was put in by splicing the wires. Also check for brake lights and see if they work should be same bulb. If the fronts do not work either check fuse 18 in the fuse box should be a 10 amp or check brake fuse 2 which is a 20 amp
