If this is a message you are getting up on the display, it is normally an indication of anouther fault, you will need to get the engine diagnostic codes and check them out, you can get the details for the codes http://www.bluejag.co.uk/diagnosticcodes.php

If you lose Cruise Control ability, it means the Cruise Control, which is a pneumatic system controlled by small valves, is leaking. Check out the Cruise Control subsystem.

Can i get a wiring diagram for steerin wheel controls and cruise control?

You can probably find one. First determine the year, make, and model of your vehicle, then search at Google for "service manual". Check available manuals to ensure they have a wiring diagram (factory service manual is best option if available).

Does anyone know anything about the error message on the message center says' no DSC available' it flashes amber on message board in my XK8 thanks in advance. Ryan

It could be the brake pedal switch, it often occurs it fails in our kitty. If your car (as mine) is equipped with a cruise control, this could be associated with the msg "cruise control not available" too (or something similar).
In this case you can fix (or change) that switch. The worst is to dismount it... ;-)

Good chance

Cruise not available fault light on 2004 jaguar s type 3.0 v 6

What is the fault code? If you don't know you need to have it tested with a scanner that reads all JAG codes, that means the dealer.

Did any 1992 ford probes have cruise control

Cruise control is an available option on a 1992 Pontiac Bonneville. Not all of them had them. Climate control was also available.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My cruse control stopped working. Could it be something simple like a blown fuse?

Possibly. Have you had it in to the dealer for service lately? There was a cruise control recall on that model. Dealers were told to disconnect the cruise until replacement parts were available. You could also try lifting the brake pedal with your toe while trying to engage the cruise system, If the brake pedal switch is out of adjustment it will not let the cruise activate. Always check fuses first though.

Message center says cruise not available, cruise works but check engine light came on.

I had double trouble with mine doing this. Had to have Tranmission rebuild and engine had vacum leaks. Hope yours is vacum leaks.

"Cruise Not Available" & "Check Rear Lights" flash from message c

Hi Don

I recomend you try this first of all.

Try disconnecting the positive battery + & negative - terminals.

Turn the ignition key several times to erase the computers memory.

Reconect the battery + terminal and then - and start the car.

Your fault code, will hopefully not return.

Good Luck !
