Since your car starts, you know that you have ignition/spark for a little while, but it is doubtful you are getting enough fuel. If you haven't changed your fuel filter for awhile, that would be an easy thing to do, to make sure it isn't clogged up with junk. If that doesn't help, you could then check for fuel pressure, with a tester, about $30 at an auto parts store, and go from there.

this car come with tree diferent engines the answer i'm going to give you is for a 1.7 engine sohc that codes means you have a leak on the evaporative system this system monitor the vapors from fuel tank this code some time might appear for filling the fuel tank with car runing i recomend you to clear code and make sure the fuel cap is not loose because there is a fuel pressure sensor in the tank and if the sensor don't read the right pressure then it will set the code

remove rear seat, remove round metal cover, disconnect fuel lines and wires from top of fuel pump, jack up rear of car. remove gas tank straps, lower gas tank with a jack, install is reverse.....if you need to just replace the fuel pump you don't have to remove tank you Can access from under rear seat good luck and please rate -jeff

I am sorry to bum you guys out, but this usually means the piston in the torque converter is bad. The converter needs to be replaced along with a transmission flush.
