1998 Ford Escort won't start

1998 Ford Escort. New battery, new terminals.
Ran for a few days after installation of battery. Now, nothing.

Won't take a ''jump.''

Check engine light stays on EVEN WHEN THE KEY IS NOT IN IGNITION!!

My jeep grand Cherokee lorado 1998 won't start. If

are the inside of the battery terms dirty,corroided? do you know if motor alt is charging batt? how long did it run when you put new batt in? if it lasted about two days, its proubly not charging, also make sure nothing is being left on draining batt down, to check that, leave batt nuhooked pos side over night.

Ford 2004 e250 after cleaning/removed battery terminal, won't start or engine won't running, fuel 1/2 full, this happen after disconnect +/- battery terminal remove.

If you indeed installed the positive battery cable last and the neg first you blew the computer possible, you will need a complete diagnosis.

No power. Boost car and it runs fine. Can restart for a day or two, then go out to start and no power again (no lights on dash...nothing). Check voltage across battery terminals, less than 1 volt...

GAS GETTING INTO CRANKCASE,HITS BUT WON"T START.

Have you checked compression? Ford 2.0L engines are bad about dropping exhaust valve seats. Also are you sure your valve timing is correct? Possible timing belt problem.
