A remote kill switch would be a switch that a mechanic installed, for an owner to prevent theft. It is a "poor mans alarm". If you know that it has a kill switch then you are there. You need to either hire a mechanic to find out what circuit the "kill switch" is integrated into and have it removed or do it yourself. But if you are referring to the "On-board" security system, I need to know exactly what you are working on. (Year, make, model, engine size)
Easy. snip and strip one wire in the ignition, install small switch between the ends. Hide switch for your access only. (under the steering wheel or something) Simply disable ignition when you get out of the car and the key won't be able to start it.
are you refering to an auto start? if you want to install a kill switch all you have to do is go to your stearing collum, of course your going to take the pannles off, find the big red wire thats main ignition to the switch cut and splice a toggle or a axilary key switch in line that will allw you to kill power to the ignition sutting down the rig hope it was helpfull but still need more info on what your asking
When you removed the alarm unit you cut the line to the Starter kill switch that was installed. Remove the starter kill switch which is most likely located under the dash spliced into the ignition wiring harness.
It would be the ignition or those ignition wires because of the kill switch being poorly installed, id try tracing wires first and replace anything thats been cut/spliced into. if not change the ignition
