SOURCE: Hands Free Link problem on my 2004 Acura TL

Heard a similar complaint, try disconnecting the main battery leads. This should clear the head unit and allow you to return to default menu.

SOURCE: 2005 Acura TL. my hands

There was service bulletin for this same problem on 2004 Acura car models.Yours is 2005 Acura but the problem is same. The hands free system not responding. Click this link directly for part number and removing of hands free link from the car.http://www.acuraworld.com/tsb/3gTL/b05-020.pdf ---------------- If its not working and confirmed by dealer then HFL module has to be replaced.( HFL means hands free link). -----------Also this problem is faced by many other acura car users.Show this service bulletin to the dealer and see if they cover your car model and year under warranty. --------- Also for phone compatibility on Acura hands free link module you can click this link and check out:----- http://www.acura.com/handsfreelink.aspx --------------- This should help.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.

2005 Acura TLS. All of a sudden my rear view mirrors and seat memory stopped working in o5 Acura tls

Question edited. although people say 'oh-5' is actually '2 zero, zero, five.

Here is your fuse box diagram, there are a few that cover seats, but as your issue is seat memory and mirrors, I think you have a Body Control Module communication issue, so you need a good auto-electrician, with a pro grade scan tool computer.

Hands free link stopped working on 2005 Acura tl

You might try disconnecting the battery and then pushing the on button on the radio. Hopefully you have a copy of the radio code nuber in case that is necessary. Then reconnect the car battery and set up your bluetooth link again.

I have an acura MDX 2006 - fully loaded. The problem i have is that suddenly the bluetooth has stopped working. I checked with the dealer and they quoted about 1000 to replace the module. can anyone please...

Do you mean the Hands Free Link that pairs your phone with the audio system? If so, then it sounds like your HFL board has died. I have the same vehicle and the same problem. A new board costs about $200 online (part # 39770-S3V-A61ZB; there's also a 39770-S3V-A61ZA but it costs ~$80 more and as near as I can tell the only difference is that it's a different color, but since you can't see it, no sense in paying extra for that) and is located in the compartment in the ceiling just above the rearview mirror (where the two overhead lights, sunroof switch, and OnStar controls are). It's not terribly hard to pull out and replace the board yourself (there's a guy who posted a series of Youtube videos for doing it on a TL, but it's virtually the same procedure on the MDX, search for 'HFL removal and install").

Acura tl A/C stops working from time to time

There appears to be a dirty connection for the Interior Blower. When the Blower stopsdue to a circuit interuption this automatically disengages the A/c Compressor. My suggestion is remove any fuse and relay connected with the blower. Make sure the reinstallation is good. If no response, go to the blower motor multipin connector, do the same.Allthese items are located in Circuit boxes on the vehicle. Use the premis, what should it do, and why not.
