Layman's terms?? No there is no way to do that for this repair. Do you have the pulley removed from the pump? It pulls off with a special tool. Also how do you know the pump is defective, did you test the pressures? It is more likely the steering rack and pinion has failed.
most likely it is you CV-Joint, it is a good idea to change out both sides. it is also cheeper to put a whole new axel in vs rebuid. does it do it worse while making sharp turns? thats the issue- if it gets too bad the axel can snap and the wheel can fall into the fireing wall leaving you stranded.
You may need a shop manual to get thru this. There is a body computer and a front control module that affects headlights among other things. The front control module has drivers for each light on each side. All of the lights use the same ground so that should be ok. The headlight switch sends a signal to the module and it controls the lights.
Without knowing where the noise is coming from, you won't have much luck fixing it. If it happens when you are moving you may have to get someone to stand next to the truck and listen.
Its either the vent for the rear carriar is pluged or the rear bearings are worn out making to axles move to much and damageing the seals causeing them to leak
The dealership will supply, you might save money getting the whole corner from a salvage yard, (they will know what rear fits) often the knuckle and strut can bend with the lower arm.
you dont have a front axle on this you have control arms, this sounds like a costly repair i would just look to buy a new car. parts and labor could be 1500 to 3k easy
You would need to get in touch with your local recycling yard, as prices vary from place to place. buying new would be HELL to find, and expensive. it may not hurt to call a dealer.
Try Eagleauto.com, Keystoneauto.com, Rockauto.com or Clearlyauto.com. Before you order, make sure you get the shipping cost, so you are sure you are comparing apples to apples, I recently ordered brake drums and shoes for a 1991 Ford Ranger from Clearly and very happy.
