I replaced the iac, coolant temp sensor and replaced the TPS. still idles way to fast... I unplugged the new iac and dies immediately... so I think that's ok... I tried unplugging egr valve while idling and that didnt do anything. has new plugs, new coil packs, new wires.... dumb founded... what else can I check? could be vacuum leak? there is no thrown engines codes with scanner... runs good and smooth going down road... just idles way to fast...
Did you check the airflow sensor? Clean it, maybe it will help

Hello,
Have you checked the cold start switch?
There is a cold start switch amongst the wires connected to your engine. I don't know precisely where this switch is located on this vehicle model but a car electrician will recognize this on time.
I think the cold start switch is defective that's why you vehicle is having a cold running problem.
This switch i what make your vehicle start when engine is cold.
I believe this is the problem of your vehicle.
Give it a shot and the out come might be favorable.....
Regards.

remove neg. cable from battery so the ECM will reset this may work. make sure the IAC is air tight. if this doen't fix your problem have someone check the IAC valve if it's bad the part runs $300.00 pluse
SOURCE: egr vacuum at idle
See if the port going in to the intake from the egr is blocked, the port is big on the egr end and goes down in size and can clog.
SOURCE: suburban high idle
go to a parts store ie auto zone advance auto etc. and get the codes ran they will normally do it for free
