When push on the accelerator, car seem not to surge

Car starts ok however when you push on the accelerator, it does not seem to surge. there were also hints of hiccups from time to time. i had the timing belt and accompanying belts recently changed. It somewhat felt nothing was engaging.

the car rolls. seems slow to engage but shudders when the brake pedals are pressed. i also just changed the transmission fluid in the hope that it will help but no good.

and this started after the timing belt was replaced?

It can only be a few things for this. My neon had some power loss one time. I replaced all the wires, plugs, and bought a msd ignition coil pack.. try just checking your plugs and wires

Surges to the right

it seems that all the power is going to the drivers side wheel or the passenger brake is not fully releasing..check the brake first.. then go to the drive train under the car and check everything from the wheel to suspension parts look for worn bushings etc..this requires putting the car on a lift and getting under it..

My 1999 ES300 just started with this problem. When idling it surges as if it wants to stall, once you add fuel it is very slugish on acceleration, once it is driving it seems to be OK.

It sounds like you have a faulty TPS ( throttle position sensor).

My 99' Mazda 626 is studdering a few seconds after start up and anytime i try to push the gas. I've added water dispersion to the tank and that didn't seem to help. I've heard Timing, Fuel pump,...

IF CAR SURGING WHILE PRESSING ACCELERATOR COULD BE STOPPED UP FUEL FILTER OR FAULTY FUEL PUMP.

My car will not accelerate properly...it stalls when pushing the gas...the air filter looks clean...so I changed the spark plugs and it drove a little better...sometimes on take off it would mess up but...

the battery seems to be surging

2000 jaguar XJR. pressing accelerator - nothing happens -

if its a v8 its gonna be your throttle body its a complete assembly and is a common problem on these models

2000 dodge b3500 extended van, 160,000. engine surges upon starting when first started, have too push on the accelerator pedal to make engine idle, just had air refrigerant added, but not ice cold, what...

check the throttle position sensor. dodge is notorious for that. it may look ok, but the fault is really small but enough to cause a prob. it may or may not show a fault. a obd2 scantool may help you. most parts stores haave them.
