well, the first thing is to check the fuses and or relay for power windows.should be listed in your owners manual. if ok, then remove switch from drivers side window and check for power. if power to the switch then use a jumper wire from power side to motor side of switch. if window works then its the switch causing the problem. bad switch or motor To check the motor the motor has two connections. One for up and one for down. Try hot wiring the connections to check. If it works the drivers switch is bad
Sounds like you are in need of a window motor/regulator.They are built together and should be replaced as a unit for the best results.It is inside the door and the door will need to be disasembled to get to it.I would recommend a service manual if this is something that you are going tackle on your own and havnt done this before.let me know how it goes.
