Car does not want to start after it is turned off . Some times it will start in 10 to 15 minutes and there are times it takes alot longer. Seems that there is some thing is getting hot and I have to wait till it cools off. Going crazy , just bought car and trying to work bugs out . Also some one put a TPI system on car.
SOURCE: WHEN I TRY TO START
To follow up on my previous comments Coss 71's solution only lasted for 1 day. The final solution was that I had to have the ignition switch replaced. The contacts in the ignition were no longer able to read the key.
SOURCE: car won"t start. starter turns. Happened once before. started after 30-45min.
I would start by banging the bottom of the gas tank while you are cranking it over. If this causes it to start, replace the fuel pump. If it still doesn't start, there is a valve on the fuel rail on the top of the engine (you may have to remove plastic cover). Remove the plastic cap on the valve, and while you have someone cycle the ignition to the run position from the off position, depress the center tab on the valve and see if gas comes out. If it doesn't, replace the fuel pump. If it does, let me know and I will help you further. (note: replace fuel filer at same time.)

Sounds like the Idle Air Control Valve which is a dealer part.

Replace ignition lock cylinder and chip key. The wires have broken.

You have a bad camshaft sensor. It's located at the back of the driver side valve cover. Takes 20 minutes to replace. I had exact problem and this solved it.
