Unlikely to have stopped pumping but might be a cause of overheating.
I would get it pressure tested abd check for coolant flow first. It may be just a stuck water valve.

Try banging on the fuel tank while someone cranks over the engine. If vehicle starts or tries to start, suspect a fuel pump failure and replacement will be required

Wrong! 2010 MKZ tail lights are LED style. They can not be changed individually. You have to replace the whole assembly.

Headlamp replacement is covered in the 2009 Lincoln MKZ Owner's Manual beginning on page 45.
