Brand new battery installed, still no power?

I had not started my truck for a couple of months and when I did the battery was struggling to work so I tried to jump start it and after a couple turns of the key there was nothing at all. I replaced the battery thinking it was just that but the new one does not turn either. I am getting no power at all?

YOU COULD HAVE A VERY BAD CONTECTION FROM BATTERY TO STARTER, TRY TO ATTACH LEAD DIRECT TO STARTER (LARGE FEED CONTECTOR) FROM JUMP BATTERY AND THEN CRANK WITH FULL BATTERY, IF SAME STARTER IS JAMMED OR SIEZING UP

2005 Honda Accord battery keeps draining down. Why?

Hi,

it's sound like you have a bad alternator. This usually recharges your battery when it functions properly but your battery would lose power if the alternator is not working anymore. Once replaced, you shouldn't have this problem. Please check with autozone or car repair company to confirm this.

Thank you.

New battery In mercedes no power

I'm not a car mechanic, but, it sounds like you might want to check the fuse to the ignition switch, and, if that fails, it might be a problem with the Start Safety Switch on the transmission. Good luck.

Electrical problem - 1990 Eagle Talon TSI

the controllers in the vehicle draw a small amount of power even if the car is not running, probably enough to drain a battery over a long period of time, when you store a car it is recommended to charge the battery at least once a month

How long can you let a new corvette sit before the battery runs down

With a good quality new battery it should be fine for one year or so, type of battery is important also, conventional car batteries tend to lose around 5% of their power each month or so.
