Look under the Hood and Locate the Fuse Relay Box. Usually on the Drivers Side on GM Vehicles. Inside this Box is where the Relay is for the Windows. The Relay and Fuse Diagram is on the Inside of the Box Lid. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

Were do the relay go for the power windows

There isn't a relay for the widows. If none work. Look at the master switch, or wiring at the front of the drivers door. Go for the wiring first.

Rear widow defoger is not working on BMW 525i

initial check is the fuse and make sure its in the right slot....you`d be surprised. If thats ok check for a click off the relay when you turn it on and off (engine off, windows down). If it does click then at least power is getting to that point. next use a simple current detector and earth one side and touch the heater elements on the rear window, especially where the contacts to the glass are located. look for broken lines or gaps where some of the element has come away from the window, easily done without knowing it when cleaning the windows etc. If you have no power getting to the relay perhaps the actual on off switch is the culprit. These are your first and basic steps to cure your problem

My power windows and wipers stopped working on my 1995 ford explorer

Your wiper system and your power windows share several different circuits and components including the Battery Saver Relay, The Inadvertent Power Relay and the Generic Electronic Module. Each of these circuits need to be tested individually to determine the location of the failure. Chances are that one repair will fix both your power windows and your wipers. However, locating the actual cause is going to be the tough part and wil require some considerable skills in diagnosing automotive electrical systems.

If you think you can handle it yourself and you have the testing equipment necessary to diagnose the circuits, I can guide you through it.

Power windows not working

check for blown fuses?you've most likely done that. open hood and look on the driverside fenderwell for a black main fuse and relay center or box, open the box and look under the lid for locations of relays and fuseslocation the fuse for electric widow and as you look at the fuse, you will see a horseshoe type metal ring inside the plastic 'window' if it's broken(the hORSESHOE} the fuse is bad and needs a new one.there is also a fuse panel located on the driverside of dash, open the door and you should see a removeable plastic cover on the drivers door at dash panel just to the left where the door closes. remove that cover to expose the fuse panel to inspect for blown fuses. thank you for choosing fixya.com
