My friend tried installing an aftermarket stereo , screwed up and couldn't figure it out, so i took it to best buy and they installed it, but the guy said my interior lights were messed up and wouldnt come on. i checked under my dash in the fuse box and the acces fuse was fine, but the power side mirror fuse was blown. i switched it, would that have anything to do with the interior lights not working? its daylight and i cant check if it fixed the problem yet.

start by the battery twist wire on pos termanal this happen to me on my dodge van bad batt took out speed o meter and tach. replaced batt no speedo no tack.i had to go on a a long trip back home half going up a hill the tach jumped to life then about one hour latter had to make a stop pulling off the freeway slowing down for the stop sign the speedo came on and both have worked ever since. I have talked to a dealer ship there no reset codes for that problem

No insult intended, but are you sure the lights on dash aren't just dimmed out? I fell for that one when it went through the car wash. Wiping down everything one of them rolled the dash dimmer. Good luck. And that inj looks like an abreviation for injector. That needs to be looked into cause something or an injector is shorted. good luck
SOURCE: Running Lights, Rear Lights and Dash Lights not working
Running lights in front sides of vehicle short out in time. I simply disconnected the plugs found inside the front wheel wells and packed them with grease for time being. When the weather improves I will find the chaffed insulation and repair. Replaced the 15amp fuse found under the hood and shwing, back on the road.

Hopefully you've gotten your car fixed by now, but mine just did the same thing today 4/25/2010. While changing the dome light, I blew the 10 amp 'Batt Saver' fuse located inside the car driver side fuse area. The mini fuses in the interior are nearly impossible to check if they are blown without a tester. I bought a cheap one for $5 at AutoZone and discovered. Once replaced, all worked fine. Hope this helps someone else with the same problem I had today.
