My son went and got a new tire. The next day, the tire went flat. While changing his tire, he discovered the tire place had stripped out one of his tire studs. He has bought a new stud and gotten the old one out, but he can't find a space to slip the new stud in to install it. Does he need to take off the brake hub and if so, how does he get it off. If not, how does he get the new stud on.
Thank you.
I am not trying to be smart here, but if he got the old one out he should be able to get the new one in. is the new one the same length as the old one, if its just alittle longer than the old, he may not get it in, i know you havent got alot of room, spin the hub around until you find a space to slip it in. if its not longer than the old one it will go in, just tell him you got to have a little patience, it'll go.
Yes he has to get the rotor of and its an easy set up after you get rotor off

How do you get the rotor off.?
He knocked the old one out and it fell inside that thingy that's behind the thing the studs go in.
