When automatically closing the power door on the passenger side of my '06 Dodge Grand Caravan, it will intermittently reverse right before getting completely closed & open back up, especially when the van is parked on a slope. What could cause this? I'm thinking it may be a sensor needing to be adjusted slightly.

there is a cable of wires that lay in the track under the slider they break from normal use.. the harness it fairly easy to change.. when you open the door lok in the opening you will see the harness there in black plastic

sounds like the door sensor switch is malfunctioning and when almost closed it reacts like it is blocked (such and kid in way) and opens for safety. try flushing trach with hose and try again, if not u need a good repair manual such as chiltons($25 most parts stores ) or see mechanic

The seals allways let some in, I just looked and mine has 4 3 or 4 mm holes to the rear emptying into the rocker panel. If you are worried about the lower rubber do a pinch test with some A4 paper, close the door with a sheet of paper held where the seal is and when the door is closed see if it is held, check somewhere you can see better to find how hard it pinches. I do not reccomend adjusting anything as if the lines are correct it must be right and they are none to easy to put right, I hope this solves it for you.
