It can be issue with faulty motor or its faulty fan control relay.
Bother are to be inspected.Test volt at fan relay and fan motor.-------------

That looks like a coolant temperature sensor to me. Locate the old on that will be on the intake manifold , disconnect the wire connector, unscrew it from the intake and install the new one.

i beleive you did more than that.? you,ll probably find all have a common earth , chech and remove it , clean with a wire brush and replace, also chance the fuse you removed and replacer reguardless of it,s appearence , ensure its put back in the correct location,peter.

Unplug fan wiring harness get 2 pieces of small gauge wire hook them to battery then touch them to fan connectors if fan doesn't work its probably a relay.

Electrical - won't start. Hooked up fan to heater, smoke came out from under the hood, car won't start. Lights work, any key related electrical functions won't work
Your fan or heater likely shorted out and burned up, causing your one of the main fuses to blow due to the spike in current. You will need to determine what burnt up and replace it before replacing the fuse, or you may create a fire hazard or cause further equipment damage. Also double check any changes to wiring to make sure that everything is hooked up properly.

If even after the engine heats up the fan does not work then you must check the following.
1. the thermostat to the fan must be checked.
2. the fuse to the fan motor must be checked, check fan seperately, check the relay unit.
3. Check the wiring to the fan circuit.

check for power at the fan, if no power at the fan check fan fuse and relay.If you have power at the fan and fan won't come on fan motor is bad.If you turn your A/C switch on and your key switch to the on position this should cut the fan on automaticly.

The heater/ac fan only works on speed settings 4 & 5
you might check your switch sounds like to me that your two lower speed sides of the switch maybe burnwed out.
