Ok i have a 1994 jeep cherokee sport 6cyl. i put antifreeze in it yesterday and we cant figure where its leaking from.. we know its not leaking from the radiator its further back! its hard to see what is going on under the jeep because there is like a cover under there with just a few holes! so i am wondering if its the hose that goes from the radiator to the engine?
Hi ,It have to be a broken or lose water hose, open the hood and run the motor for some 15 to20 minutes look carefuly around the engine ,you must see antefrezze spraying out from a water hose.
Hi,in order to replece the head gasket , the cilinder head must be removed ,if you are planning to do it your self ,the gasket is not expensive , the head must be resurface and check for cracks at a machine shop this may run from $ 90.00 to $ 150.00,if you are taking the car to a shop , it can run (aproximate) from $ 400.00 to $600.00 ,if the head is cracked or can not be used for any reason ,a good used one can go from $200.00 to$ 500.00 ,C1

The cover should be removable to be able to inspect the hose. if the hose is ok i would then check the water pump gasket and housing but be sure to check the hose clamps are tight first. hope this helps
