2002 bentley arnage. how can i shut it off

    I have had two Bentley Arnage's, engine light came on both them. I was told to make sure the petrol filler cap is on correctly. A friend also has the same problem. It is a fault obviuosly

I have engine light on mine as well. The car is not used daily or even weekly and finally tracked it to a low charge/faulty battery.

According to Bentley sevice mgr., check engine light when NOT flashing is not serious and usually represents a exhaust management problem.. can even be caused by a "loose" fuel filler cap.

In order to pass inspection and improve fuel consumption requires a service call with Bentley dealer.

I need to reset the Arnage alarm light.
I would suspect that you might find the solution in the owners manual, just look in the index under Alarm System. You could call your dealer and speak with a Service writer, they might be able to explain how to do it, or it might be a problem that the dealer would need to correct.
