It could be, but it sounds like you have a loose electrical connection somewhere, you might want to check at the compressor if the fuse is good. Is blower working or not?

I will assume the ac is still getting cold, just not blowing. You wouldn't really know unless you pulled the panel and checked the lines. Causes include the blower motor, resistor, fuse, or switch.

Fuses are in the kick panel on the passenger side. If it blows again, you will need to find the malfunction (don't put in a higher rated fuse) Most times the blower motor will cause fuse failure as when the motor gets older it begins to draw excessive amperage...but don't change it till it is actually verified as being bad.
First, check the fuses for the fan, AC and climate control. Could be just that simple. Otherwise, try swapping out relays with the same type by removing one from another device in your power box under the hood. Be sure you use the exact same numbered relay!
