My key is stuck in the ignition of my trailblazer. It will start just fine, can listen to the radio, etc; but when i shut it off and try to turn the key back to get it to come out, it won't turn all the way back to release the key. So, now, I have to turn the power to my radio off and dim all lights when I park it! Anyone have a solution? Please help!!!!
There is a small 1/4'' oblong cover plate on the underside of the stearing column. Pop this out and there is a button you push in ( like the Crysler key relase) and this will allow you to remove the key.

I am unable to get my ignition to position A. I have tried everything and the key is stuck. Please help. I tried loking for the oblong cover but i don't have that. My Trailblazer is a 2005. Please help
mine too is stuck in the ignition wont come out no matter what... took to the dealership they said would cost around $350.00. something about a silinoid or something like that...
