Heated seats will not come on, light on button to turn seats on does not light up. We installed a new battery recently but doubt that has anything to do with it. The A/C seats do not work either. I was thinking fuse but fuse panel not labeled.
If the light doesnt come on for the heated seat, *sometimes* the electronics need to be reset. You do this by very carefully taking both battery poles off the battery entirely. Then touching the negative to the positive WHILE NEITHER IS TOUCHING THE BATTERY (this is very important otherwise you could get shocked). This will clear computer and reset it. Then reconnect the positive first. then the negative. this will sometimes work. This is only if the light for the heated seats is not coming on. If the light is coming on you probably need a new heater core.

My 2003 Navigator has exactly the same problem. Dealer estimates $700 - $ 800 to fix (and mechanic told me privately that the fix will last about a year because of a poor design involving wires connecting the heating elements in the seat). Bad deal.
I also have a 2004 Lincoln navigator and the seats no longer work..heated or cooled...im thinking it might be a fuse but not sure...? HELP:)
My 2004 Lincoln passenger seat heat light turns on for 2-3 seconds and then goes off. We took it to the dealer and the fuse is fine. Dealer believes it's the heated seat module or element that has gone bad.wants to charge $400-$500 dollars to fix the seat. Oh by the way they charged me $100 dollars to diagnose the problem. I'm getting ripped off!!! Can someone help??
The heat is barely noticeable and I have it set on 5. I had the dealer look at it, they charged me $40 to troubleshoot only to tell me that they did not know what was wrong, it would take the technician another 45 minutes to an hour to figure out and they would charge me an additional $70. I told them to forget it...
The cool air still works...
